The free article named what you buried, the parts of yourself that had no safe room in the house of your first formation. It named how the church in particular can become the site where the shadow forms, where the good girl and the faithful one learn to perform rather than exist. It named the blind spot, the projection, the quality so thoroughly denied it feels like it belongs to someone else.

Here in the Inner Room, we do not name it further. We meet it. There is a profound difference between diagnosis and formation, and formation requires that we move from seeing the shadow to standing in its presence with intention, with prayer, and with the kind of slow courage that only comes from knowing you are not doing this alone.
