In the free article this week we landed the arc. Wholeness is not the disappearance of the shadow. The shadow stays. Struggle stays. Perfection is not on offer this side of glory, and any teaching that says otherwise has wandered off Scripture. What is on offer is the end of the divided life. The person who is no longer two of herself. The whole self under Christ. Jacob walking into the morning at Penuel, limping, with a new name, one man where two had stood by the river the night before. That is the picture, and the whole arc has been walking us into it.
Naming the destination is not the same as living from it. That is what this article is for. And the integrated life has a particular shape that maintenance does not get taught in most Christian writing, so I want to walk it carefully.
What Is Actually at Stake After Week Ten
What is at stake, plainly, is whether the work of this arc becomes a season you went through, or a way you now live.
